Hey, how did you make the immage of the Counterfeiters?

Unverified images
Hi! Thanks for uploading the following images:
I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. [[User:Poccil|Peter O. (Talk, automation script)]] 22:08, Dec 10, 2004 (UTC)
P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.
Same goes for Image:Pumpkins.jpg. Are you mdoege@compuserve.com, or did that person give you permission? --Dbenbenn 01:51, 12 Dec 2004 (UTC)
And these Image:Vesuvius_from_Pompeii.jpg and Image:Vesuvius_from_Pompeii_small.jpg --nixie 08:34, 13 Dec 2004 (UTC)
And Image:KITT Universal Studios.jpg
And Image:Painted Ladies.jpg Image:Palestra at Olympia small.jpg — Edwin Stearns | Talk 17:35, 14 Dec 2004 (UTC)
And Image:Cable Car Station.jpg, which is used in Cable car on rails and I've just added to a new article San Francisco cable car system. If you are mdoege@compuserve.com then this shouldn't be an issue, because we can infer a {{GFDL}} licence. If not, and you don't have permission to upload the images, then will need to delete them. -- Chris j wood 16:22, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
- Morn doesn't seem to have contributed to Wikipedia since January 9th, so I doubt if this page is being watched. I have sent this email to mdoege@compuserve.com to see if that person can shed any light on these images. -- Chris j wood 17:55, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)

New York from Empire State Building.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:New York from Empire State Building.jpg. I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use {{gfdl}} if you release it under the GFDL, or {{fairuse}} if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Right now, I'll put it as unverified, but change it to what it's supposed to be when you get a chance. Thanks, Mattingly23 15:54, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)
CO2 vibrations
On this figure Image:Co2_vib_modes.svg. Is (d) actually a distinct mode? It looks like a combination of (b) and (c) to me. If it is distinct can you perhaps explain in words what is different about it relative to a combination of (b) and (c). Dragons flight 18:36, 11 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I made the original caption from the thesis a little shorter, it seemed too long. (d) is the same as (c), but turned 90° around the x axis. I guess in some books this is counted as a distinct mode, while in others, (c) and (d) are combined into one mode. I guess you would have to ask a chemist which number of modes is correct.
- Turning to Figure 2.2 in G. Brasseur (my prof) and S. Solomon, Aeronomy of the Middle Atmosphere (2005), the linear triatomic molecule has three modes there, symmetric stretch, bending, and asymmetric stretch.
- So maybe, based on what you and me and G. Brasseur think (and because I don't recall which book or paper the original four-mode layout was based on), the diagram should be updated to include only the first three modes, arranged from top to bottom to save space. Perhaps I will sit down with Inkscape later. Morn 10:31, 16 July 2006 (UTC)

Unspecified source for Image:Cabo_da_Roca.jpg
Thanks for uploading Image:Cabo_da_Roca.jpg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, then you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, then a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a restatement of that website's terms of use of its content, is usually sufficient information. However, if the copyright holder is different from the website's publisher, then their copyright should also be acknowledged.
As well as adding the source, please add a proper copyright licensing tag if the file doesn't have one already. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self-no-disclaimers}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the image is copyrighted under a non-free license (per Wikipedia:Fair use) then the image will be deleted 48 hours after 21:30, 14 April 2007 (UTC). If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Nv8200p talk 21:30, 14 April 2007 (UTC)

Re: My email addess on your page
Hi Morn
You write:
- Could you please rename your "email to mdoege@compuserve.com" subpage to something else? Apparently a few people are getting the idea that this is your email address, so I am getting their comments that refer to your edits. The title of the subpage is a little misleading, apparently. Thanks! Morn 16:47, 23 April 2007 (UTC)
Done as requested. Sorry for any confusion caused. What were the comments?. -- Chris j wood 20:11, 23 April 2007 (UTC)

Speedy deletion of Image:Alcobaca fountain.jpg
A tag has been placed on Image:Alcobaca fountain.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section I8 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because it is available as a bit-for-bit identical copy on the Wikimedia Commons under the same name, or all references to the image on Wikipedia have been updated to point to the title used at Commons.
If you think that this notice was placed here in error, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}}
to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on [[ Talk:Image:Alcobaca fountain.jpg|the talk page]] explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would would render it more in conformance with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. Lastly, please note that if the article does get deleted, you can contact one of these admins to request that a copy be emailed to you. Sdrtirs (talk) 23:03, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
Your photo uploads
Hello, I'm just dropping a note by saying how much I enjoyed looking at a few of the images you've uploaded to Wikipedia today. I just wanted to suggest to you that you upload your images to Commons, so that other language Wikipedias and other Wikimedia wikis are able to use your photos. You can upload there via Commons:Commons:Upload. If you're interested, I'd urge you to look at WP:COMMONS for more info about what Commons really is. You can always ask me for help or more information, too. Have a nice night. Killiondude (talk) 04:14, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
- Yes, I should probably upload to the Commons directly, as all my older images seem to have ended up there anyway. I suppose I'll have to get myself an account first---or figure out how this unified account system for the Wikimedia projects works... Morn (talk) 16:38, 8 September 2009 (UTC)
Hi. There are now 4 versions of this picture. Please state which one you prefer. Thanks. Makeemlighter (talk) 01:22, 3 October 2009 (UTC)
- I've put version #4 on the Mt. Vesuvius page, because that's the one I like best. Morn (talk) 21:56, 3 October 2009 (UTC)

Unreferenced BLPs
Hello Morn! Thank you for your contributions. I am a bot alerting you that 2 of the articles that you created are tagged as Unreferenced Biographies of Living Persons. The biographies of living persons policy requires that all personal or potentially controversial information be sourced. In addition, to ensure verifiability, all biographies should be based on reliable sources. If you were to bring these articles up to standards, it would greatly help us with the current 36 article backlog. Once the articles are adequately referenced, please remove the {{unreferencedBLP}} tag. Here is the list:
- Jean-Yves Tadié - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL
- Perry Blake - Find sources: Google (books · news · scholar · free images · WP refs) · FENS · JSTOR · TWL

Talk:Religion in Germany
I followed with interest your discussion with user angr. I expected that after the exchange that user Angr had with you there would be less of an issue and more WIKIstyle working together , but no...You may want to look into this page again, as user Angr is once again deleting text without discussion.
However, nearly half a year this discussion is ongoing so on the other hand you may want to spend your time more efficiently/. greetings Ruud64 (talk) 11:38, 13 March 2010 (UTC)
Took a bit of stupid edit warring but in the end user Angr did contribute to Talk:Religion in Germany page and I must admit he had at least one good point in todays discussion. So I hope something productive will come out of this. Hopefully working together is a possibility. Cheers Ruud64 (talk) 22:27, 13 March 2010 (UTC)

Please stop adding inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Plasma cosmology. It is considered spamming and Wikipedia is not a vehicle for advertising or promotion. Because Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, additions of links to Wikipedia will not alter search engine rankings. If you continue spamming, you may be blocked from editing Wikipedia. thunderbots.info and holoscience.com are both advocacy sites that lack parity with peer-reviewed journal articles and books published by legitimate scientific publishing presses. See also this established consensus on the subject material. ScienceApologist (talk) 13:57, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- That sounds a bit stupid. When WP links to a company homepage or an IMDb entry, those pages aren't peer-reviewed either. Since when exactly are external links required to lead to peer-reviewed articles or the equivalent thereof? (And the article itself makes the speculative nature of the theory sufficiently clear.) It's a little suspicious you don't want to allow those links. So much for "Wikipedia is not censored"! Morn (talk) 18:57, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
- The precedents and guidelines are pretty clear. The page is relating to a set of scientific proposals that were made in the 1960s through 1990s. The two pages you linked to are essentially Velikovskian fansites. We aren't talking about companies or movies, we're talking about scientific descriptions, measurements, and theories. Reliable sourcing is necessarily different in those venues. Company websites and IMDB cannot be used to verify the atomic weight of carbon or the origin of species. Nor should amateur fansites be used to describe deprecated fringe theories when there are much better historical sources available. ScienceApologist (talk) 19:45, 26 May 2010 (UTC)
VPC
You are being contacted because you have in the past participated in the Valued Picture project. The VPC project is suffering from a chronic lack of participation to the point that the project is at an impasse. A discussion is currently taking place about the future of this project and how to revitalize the project and participation. If you're interested in this project or have an idea of how to improve it please stop by and participate in the discussion. |

WPBiography
Hi. I noticed your edit here. Thanks for checking this stuff. One comment only: All WPBiography pages must have |living=
so please after fixing the categories in the article page, add |living=no
in WPBiography too. -- Magioladitis (talk) 12:20, 16 September 2010 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Männer cover.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Männer cover.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Wikipedia uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information; to add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Wikipedia.
For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 15:06, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
